Inaugural Carl Sandburg College Youth Coding Camp to Continue July 16-19

GALESBURG — The Carl Sandburg College Corporate & Leisure College will host the second week of its inaugural coding camp for elementary and middle school students, 10 a.m.-noon July 16-19 in the CME computer lab, 2051 Tom L. Wilson Blvd., on Sandburg’s Main Campus in Galesburg. This camp is for students in grades 3-8 who are interested in learning about coding for the first time or enhancing their coding skills.

Students will learn to code using Sphero SPRK+ robots, design programs that will guide these same robots through mazes and other unique challenges, helping them to continue on their journey to being a technological star.
